Will I ever stop spamming you with Indonesia pictures? Yes, I will! 😉 But there are still some pictures left I have to share it with you!

After my Clicka and I spent the first day enjoying the beauty of Uluwattu beach, we decided the second day to visit Pura Tirta Empul, the Holy Water temples and also the famous rice terrace Tegalalang. As we rented a car it was so easy to do the three.We started our day by exploring the beautifully peaceful & spiritual, an Absolute must in Bali. Pura Tirta Empul the temple was stunning and the holy waters incredibly beautiful. They gave us Saroengs to enter the place, if you want, you can get into the water (with swimsuit underneath) and pray as you bath your head under the fountains moving along to each in turn, but we couldn’t enter because we didn’t have that much time but I believe it would have been a wonderful experience .

Many locals were there for their prayers and the place was very clean, despite the many people and visits of tourists. During the visit of the temple you can really take your time and enjoy the beauty of that place. The entrance fee was not very high; the saroeng can be borrowed without paying for it.We spent a great amount of time at the temple. Despite all other beautiful things of Bali, the visit of this temple was one of the highlights of our Bali trip. Tirta Empul is divided into 3 courtyards. At the first courtyard there is also the pool for public bathing and even tourists can enter the pool. The water source at Tirta Empul is believed to be the source of life and prosperity.

  10. So I know the whole look probably wasn’t intentional when you woke up that morning, but I LOVE your outfit with the addition of the sarong! You look gorgeous.
    I’ve never actually heard or read about these temples before, despite having read countless posts about Bali, so it was lovely to see them and read about your experience.

  13. Keep spamming us with Indonesia pictures! It’s gorgeous. I love visiting temples and this one looks especially nice. I appreciate how they keep it clean, it shows a lot of respect and love. Bummer you didn’t get in to the fountains, but I guess it’s nice to have something to return to.

  14. Your outfit!! I love the colors and the roots on those trees! What an interesting place. We travel the world and love showing them cultures outside our own. We want them to understand the world around them. This place looks just awesome!

  15. It is a good thing to follow and respect the traditions of the place we are visiting. I love what you are wearing but shame that you didn’t have enough time to get into the water. I love all the pictures, especially the ones of the sculptures.

  16. Wow, the temple sculptures are incredible!! It is great to see that even though the temple is ancient and has so many tourists visiting, it is still so well maintained. I feel so happy when ancient monuments are so well preserved, it just enhances the beauty of the place to a whole new level.

  20. what an amazing experience. I am trying to learn more about Bali and Indonesia in general as I dont have any of it on my bucket list. Perhaps this because most info I see is about the beaches, as amazing as they are, they seem typical of other places I have been.
    But Tirta Empul…now this seems very bucket list worthy. I love the idea of experiencing the holy waters of this beautiful temple. Do they share a lot of information about how to pray and the history of it all?
    Truly amazing.
