AL HOCEIMA MOROCCO , 29 AUGUST 2016
WELCOME TO MY RIFLAND
As promised in my previous post “ Barcelona tiene poder ”,today I bring to you Alhoceima, my hometown.
The land of Berbers, a nation who inhabited this region thousands of years before the Arabs came.We still keep our culture traditions and language which we have enriched with the best of the Arab world.
the Rif a magnificent mountain chain that crosses all the north of Morocco is the landscape of the pictures that I want to share with you today.
Calm and silent in Winter, Alhoceima becomes a neuralgic spot in Summer when thousands of tourists come to spend their vacations in the city. The region offers a rare diversity of beaches sea activities and mountains hard to find elsewhere. Grey, white and rocky beaches can be found in less than 10 km all along the coastline.
Those intrepid souls like me who enjoy discovering new places barely known by the rest, explore the rocky mountains to find empty beaches and cliffs to jump to the sea such as the one which I found with my brother and where I took most of the photos of this post.
If you want to know more about Alhoceima and it’s surroundings let me know.
Keep in touch.

That place is stunning! Could you jump into the water from those rocks? That always makes me nervous… because you usually can’t see the bottom. Looks like you had a fabulous time though. ^^

yeah that’s what we do, I’m always nervous at the beginning but once I jump into the water I forget about it haha
