10-day trip in Costa Rica

DSC_0231

I had heard so much about Costa Rica’s “pura vida” lifestyle, but I didn’t quite understand what it meant until I was there. It is the appreciation of life’s simple treasures, but for Ticos (Costa Ricans), it is more than just a saying—it is a way of life. Continue reading Costa Rica

Five-day travel itinerary

DSC_0112

As you’ve probably seen on my Instagram, I’ve done a wonderful trip across south and west Iceland. At the beginning we thought that, five days didn’t seem enough to visit Iceland from Boston, but my husband and I went for it and we found friends crazy enough to use Thanksgiving´s long weekend to travel with us to Iceland.

I’m super excited to write this blog. Perhaps because it’s been a long time since I posted on my blog. But more than that, I think I’m excited to write this because I feel like I had actual experiences. Iceland surprised me in ways I didn’t think it would, I found places that surpassed the thousands of photos I’ve seen, and for the first time in a long time I felt spectacularly present. As much as I love to create and take photos, my favorite kinds of trips are the ones where I come back bursting with stories to tell and things to say. This trip had the most beautiful balance of both and I am so grateful. Continue reading Iceland

We had a short break at the end of May and decided to discover Mexico City, a new place for us. I get very motivated and inspired with the prospect of discovering a new destination. Destination chosen, we head to Mexico City for 3 nights. I’m a huge fan of the “city break weekends”. They give you power and make you feel alive! Continue reading Mexico City

Tumultuous past but bright future

TUMULTUOUS PAST BUT BRIGHT FUTURE

” What to visit in Medellin in one day and where to eat! ”

Today, I hope my blog post will to change your perception about Colombia in general and the city of Medellin in particular, because this travel completely changed mine. Before traveling to Colombia I had many misconceptions. I’m glad I had a chance to travel to Colombia, see it with my own eyes and experience life in this great country. Before, all I knew and heard about Colombia in Social Media and News was about drugs and war… But Colombia is much more than that. Continue reading Tumultuous past but bright future

An unforgettable week in Colombia, a place which left me with a love-hate feeling. I loved Colombia so much that I hated not having more time to discover it better.

For Spring break we decided to join the Colombia trek organised by a group of HBS Colombian students. Thanks to these amazing HBS Colombians we discovered and experienced the real Colombia. Continue reading Escape to Colombia: Bogotá & Medellín (Pt.I)

FOOD IN NEW YORK

NEW YORK, 21– 26 NOVEMBER 2017

FOOD IN NEW YORK

This week I traveled for the first time to New York. It wasn’t easy for me to tell which restaurants are good or not.

There were so many restaurants, but the area that had various choices was SOHO. There you can find any type of food you want and most of the restaurants are good. I didn’t have enough time to try all the best restaurants in the area but I’m planning to try other places, and also other types of food in my next trip to New York.

Here are some of the restaurants I’ve tried and I would say they are my favorite so far.

  • The Meatball Shop is a restaurant located in East Village.
